EFT/Tapping and Sound Therapy for Holistic Living + Evolved Parenting with Down to Earth Tools

We meet monthly to get to know each other and socialize, share a bit about who we are and what we do, and learn from each other. Different members share in depth each time.

The goal of the presentations is to teach each other useful tools to grow ourselves, expand our practices, and add valuable resources for our clients. This group is free and intended to be social and educational, not specifically for marketing and networking. If you have a question of whether your work is a good fit, feel free to reach out.

Evolved Parenting with Down to Earth Tools with Susan Lehman:

What is Positive Discipline? Positive Discipline is a program designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities. Based on the best selling Positive Discipline books by Dr. Jane Nelsen, Lynn Lott, Cheryl Erwin, Kate Ortolano, Mary Hughes, Mike Brock, Lisa Larson and others, it teaches important social and life skills in a manner that is deeply respectful and encouraging for both children and adults (including parents, teachers, childcare providers, youth workers, and others).

Recent research tells us that children are “hardwired” from birth to connect with others, and that children who feel a sense of connection to their community, family, and school are less likely to misbehave. To be successful, contributing members of their community, children must learn necessary social and life skills. Positive Discipline is based on the understanding that discipline must be taught and that discipline also teaches.

Susan Lehman has worked with families of young children for over 30 years as a professional nanny, coach, and consultant. She trained at the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, California and is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer. She has taught Positive Discipline classes for parents and professionals in the San Francisco Bay area for the last 10 years.

Susan worked for many years as a “Hollywood Nanny” and then as a placement counselor and instructor to student nannies in Beverly Hills. The International Nanny Association was privileged to have her as a guest speaker at the last conference held in San Francisco. She has given workshops at the last three National Nanny Training Days and had workshops for other nanny agencies in the San Francisco Bay area, as well as Sacramento. Learn more at and
